About the artwork:
In life, dogs are seen as not only our close companions but also guardians of their respective territories. The same can be said in death as dog statues stand in cemeteries guarding not only their owner’s graves but symbolizing their protection of the surrounding graveyard.

About the End is Nigh:
The End is Nigh is an exhibition about the Allegories, Symbols, Stories, Characters, and Rituals surrounding death -- we wanted to investigate everything we can about how cultures and societies prepared for, honored, symbolized, and spoke about the great sleep. View the full exhibition here.
