"Red Blooded" by Sheena Klimoski
– Hiding in Plain Sight –
Camouflage features seventy international illustrators and designers who are pulling off the veil on the concept of what it means to be invisible. Artists created work exploring the concepts of blending in, assimilating, and adapting to their surroundings. Whatever the reason, we're constantly in hiding in one way or another. The art of camouflage spans the political, aesthetic, scientific, magical, psychological and social realms. The Camouflage Exhibition is on display May 26th - July 14th, 2017.

About this piece:
She was a wild one, born and raised by forgetful hands. She may have been left to die, but she wailed so loud that even compassion had to turn its eye in her direction. The faces she came to know where large, and striped, and wise. She became red-blooded and ran with the pride.
