Celeste Cathedral
Color: Celeste / #B2FFFF
Giclee Print
12" x 16"

About this piece:

The color I chose for this project attempts to emulate a very specific sky color. I wanted to try and capture when I see this color in the sky around my home ... In early spring, the naked birch trees seem to trap color like stained glass. The occasional cloud adds variation and compliments for an overall celestial experience!

About this artist:

I'm a comic artist and illustrator who lives in the woods ... but I dream of the sea!! Above all, I try to be a playful storyteller through my work. Color is perhaps the most important tool I use to accomplish this -- especially to capture the change of mood through value and saturation.
